Who is responsible?

What information we use
For a purchase, KADUMBRE stores your name and email, the products and prices in your order, payment status, invoice details and, for physical orders, your delivery address and phone number. Stripe collects and processes your payment card details on its secure checkout; KADUMBRE does not receive or store your full card number.
If you send a Three Words, One Story request, we receive the three words and your email address. If you place digital artwork in the basket, your browser stores the selected product IDs locally so the basket can be restored. Private personalized purchases also store the access token needed to keep that set in your basket. This basket data is removed if you clear browser storage; after confirmed payment, the basket is cleared.
If you submit a withdrawal declaration for a ready-made physical set, we store your name, email, order reference, selected set, the date you received the parcel, the declaration text, and the date and time received. We use these details to register and handle the declaration and send you an email receipt.
Why we use it and who receives it
We use information to answer requests, create and fulfil orders, calculate delivery, issue invoices, provide support and keep records required for tax and accounting purposes. The legal basis is taking steps to enter into or perform your contract, complying with legal obligations, and handling customer support.
Netlify hosts the website and stores its catalog, orders, request forms and invoice files. Stripe processes payments. For a physical order, delivery details and parcel dimensions are sent to Colete Online to calculate available services and prices; recipient details are provided to the selected courier when the shipment is arranged. We share only the information needed for those services.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Service providers may process information in other countries under the safeguards required by applicable law.
How long we keep information
Order, invoice and payment records are kept for the periods required by accounting and tax law. Messages, personalization requests and withdrawal declarations are kept for as long as needed to respond, complete the requested work and document the handling of the request, unless a legal claim or obligation requires longer retention.
Cookies and browser storage
KADUMBRE does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The shopping basket uses essential browser local storage so the products you select remain in your basket while you browse. You can remove it in your browser settings; doing so clears the basket. Stripe may use its own technologies on the separate Stripe checkout page under Stripe’s own privacy information.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, restriction or objection where applicable, and data portability where the law provides it. You may also complain to the Romanian data protection authority. To make a request, email hello@kadumbre.com and include your order number if relevant.
